I bought your book and loved it. I made the cookie bars with the recipe in it, but I was wondering if the large amount of chocolate was necessary? Of course there’s got to be some chocolate, but I didn’t have enough and I think it still turned out fine and tasted amazing! I just wanted to ask this in case I would ever make this delightful recipe again! 🙂

You can freeze either raw or baked – both work! And you can do, but they can spread a bit! x

So I made these in the tin above. Baked for 35 minutes and they were on the edge of starting to burn on top but once cooled and I was chopping up they were incredibly soft/raw mix in the middle. Would you suggest turning the temp down and baking lower and slower? x

Not really – they would be too thin. You should use about 1.5x the recipe for that size tin x

Made these today ready for Valentine’s Day tomorrow and I’m super happy with the results! II didn’t add 250g of pink/red chocolate as I couldn’t find any so had to buy some bags of M&M’s and just pick the red ones out, this is just because I’m trying to use things up that I already have. So I made the cookie dough with the chunks in and then just pressed the red M&M’s into the top of it once it was in the baking tray. It has still turned out just as good as I expected and I’m sure my boyfriend will enjoy them.
